Here's a quick glance at our cabinet painting process from the estimate to installation day!

Request an Estimate

• To begin, submit a request through our Contact Us page or the Request an Estimate tab. Simply complete the form, and a member of our team will reach out within 24 hours.

• During our initial follow-up, we’ll ask for project details and photos of your space or schedule an in-home estimate to discuss the project in detail—including color selections, scheduling, and deposit information.

Project Week

• Our process begins with the removal of all cabinet doors and drawers, which are refinished off-site in our shop. This includes cleaning, scuff sanding, priming, and painting.

• Meanwhile, we prepare your project space by masking and covering all areas. The cabinet frames are then cleaned, scuff sanded, primed, and painted on-site.

• On installation day, we return to reinstall all doors, drawers, and hardware.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PAINT MY CABINETS?

Great question: Most spaces take up to one week (4-6 days) However some kitchens are larger and require more time. We will communicate every step of the way if we need more time work on doors/drawers or in your home.

Quote/Estimate

Initial consultation - via messaging, text or in-person.

Will include paint, primer, light sanding and all supplies as well as hardware installation if requested at the time of quote/estimate. Quote/estimate is subject to change if any damage, cracks or hinges need to be repaired and replaced.

Friday (week prior to project)

Label and take down all doors and drawers/drawer fronts

Clean, degrease and level sand all doors and drawer fronts.

Monday & Tuesday

Prime and paint all doors and drawer fronts in our shop

Wednesday & Thursday

Kitchen (bathroom or laundry room) are prepped. Cabinet boxes will be thoroughly cleaned, sanded and prepped for painting. All appliances, walls and floors are covered. *Mask all boxes.

Prime all cabinet frames / topcoat all cabinet frames. We remove all prep (paper, wall and floor covering), sweep, vacuum, clean-up.
